Hi, I'm Lydia!

Lydia Johnson
Marriage & Family Therapist Intern (MFT-Intern)
If you’re here, you might be navigating something hard or feeling a little stuck. Either way, I’m really glad you’ve landed in this space. I know finding the right therapist can sometimes be overwhelming, so let me tell you a bit about how I show up in the therapy room and what working together might feel like.
I truly believe people are capable of change. It’s not always easy, but it is possible—and you don’t have to do it alone. I see therapy as a space to slow down, connect with the core of who you are, and begin building change using the tools you already have (and maybe a few new ones, too). My hope is that you feel safe, seen, understood, supported, and empowered as we explore what growth looks like for you. I’ll walk alongside you with curiosity and compassion as you move toward healing, clarity, and progress.
In our work together, I will often integrate Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This means we’ll look at what’s already working, explore how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected, and identify areas for meaningful and sustainable change. We’ll set goals that reflect what matters most to you—and adjust as needed along the way. It is my priority to make this a warm space where you see how achievable the best version of yourself and your situation really is.
I enjoy working with teens, college students, and couples. I’m certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Prepare/Enrich for couples. Whether you’re navigating depression, anxiety, relational conflict, or the stress of a major life transition, I’m here to help you feel a little less alone—and a lot more equipped. I also offer faith-integrated care if that’s something meaningful to you.
You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin. If you’re ready to take that first step—or even just thinking about it—I’d be honored to meet you there.
