In a world where life can sometimes smack you in the face with very difficult circumstances, we need people. And this support might be needed beyond family and friends, which is okay. Instead, we may need professionals to navigate through hard situations or to just come alongside us while we work through life just lifing us.

My name is Darah, and I entered the world of counseling for myself when my marriage almost came to an end. As we navigated through the challenges and came out on the other side, I knew that God had a purpose for my pain. I appreciate the ability to empathize and help those who have gone through similar life explosions.

With a client-centered approach tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, I believe in creating a non-judgmental space. This way clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, gain insights, and develop practical strategies for overcoming challenges.

As a masters level counseling intern I also see clients of all ages and diverse issues. Understanding how family systems impact everyone helps me guide others through challenges that seem out of their direct control. I am especially interested in couples work with infidelity and the work we must do individually outside of our relationships. While I do specialize in affairs, infidelity can be understood as the keeping of secrets. Even though it feels like an affair could end the relationship, it doesn’t always have to. There is hope, and I want to help you find that hope.

Working together we will integrate attachments, agreements, and childhood traumas to help with insights into where a particular behavior rooted from so that awareness can start to bring healing.
