Hi, I'm Shantel!

Shantel Farrow

Licensed Marital & Family Therapist

Board Approved Supervisor

I join you in the therapy room not only as a therapist, but as a woman who understands how complicated life can be. Alongside my clinical training and leadership experience, the heart of my work is rooted in real life having walked through divorce, betrayal, trauma, single motherhood, grief, spiritual battles, and the long road of rebuilding and restoration.

I have spent more than a decade working in clinical and executive roles supporting individuals, couples, and families. My background includes extensive experience in trauma-informed care, program leadership, and supervising and mentoring other clinicians. Over the years, I’ve worked with people navigating complex mental health challenges, relationship struggles, and major life transitions while also helping organizations and teams grow healthier systems of care. My goal in counseling is to create a space where you can be honest about what you’re carrying and begin rebuilding from the inside out.

I especially enjoy working with adults experiencing anxiety and mood disorders, couples navigating high-conflict relationships, individuals healing from attachment wounds, and families working through divorce or co-parenting challenges. I also have a strong interest in supporting people facing workplace stress, racial trauma, and other experiences that impact identity, safety, and connection. I believe you don’t have to be perfect to be powerful.

My clinical approach uses Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and Trauma-Focused CBT to help you process pain, restore your sense of self, and create healthier boundaries. Together, we will work to build the peace and future you deserve. My role is to guide and support you in reclaiming your voice, creating healthier boundaries, and moving toward the life you deserve. Healing isn’t an easy process, but you don’t have to do it alone. You are worth life restoration, peace, and the hopeful future waiting for you.
