Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT-S)

If you’re reading this, you’re probably hoping to find someone to talk to and are curious if I can help you get to where you want to be. So here’s a little information about me in practice. I hope it sheds some light toward your first step in the best direction for you.

At some point we may admit to ourselves that things just aren’t “okay”, and we’re not “fine” anymore. Positive change can be tricky to get to and stick to, and happiness can seem like a moving target. As a wife and mother of three children, I’ve experienced many things testing my strength. Whether or not we have many family and friends, it can still be difficult finding someone to talk to. It can also be uncomfortable discussing personal matters with others in a way that will actually help.

The approach I take as a therapist is your coach. I make it a point to see you, hear you, and value you and most importantly show you how to do the same for yourself. I will encourage you to pursue the bright tomorrow you believe in is possible, no matter what mental, generational, relational, or past challenges try holding you back. With a judgement-free space, void of the unnecessary opinions you may hear enough of, I work to build a relationship with you to increase trust and insight. I view the world from a faith-based lens and operate within evidence-based approaches. Any spiritual inclusion is based on your preferences and because you are the one doing the work, the progress moves at your pace. We make goals together and explore what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. I listen to you and together we consider how you are one part of a larger system to help you get to where you choose to be.

We do a lot of work inside our meeting space but I believe the real test is outside it. I am especially interested in a variety of challenges including mood instability, chaotic living, couples counseling, and identity crises. I work with teens and adults and include important characters in your story like your partner, spouse, family members, or anyone else who can aid in your journey. I am not a magician, I am simply an instrument positioned for the purpose of helping you explore your choices to freely live a life that doesn’t have to be so hard to live anymore. Let’s create a story from your hope, instead of your hurt. There’s no time like the present to begin.

I will encourage you to pursue the bright tomorrow you believe in is possible, no matter what mental, generational, relational, or past challenges try holding you back. We discuss behavioral strategies, your thought life, and identify patterns hindering you from life-giving cycles. I listen to you and together we consider how you are one part of a larger system to help you get to where you choose to be.

We do a lot of work inside our meeting space but I believe the real test is outside it. I am especially interested in a variety of challenges including chronic anxiety, bipolar disorders, identity crisis, borderline personality, narcissistic personality, histrionic personality, and couples seeking reconciliation and healing. I work with teens and adults and include important characters in your story like your partner, spouse, family members, or anyone else who can aid in your journey. I am not a magician, I am simply an instrument positioned for the purpose of helping you explore your choices to freely live a life that doesn’t have to be so hard to live anymore.
