Hi, I'm Darah!

Darah Henley

Candidate for Licensed Marital and Family Therapy (LMFT-C)

Life can be incredibly hard—sometimes knocking us off our feet with unexpected challenges. In those moments, we often need more than the support of family and friends. We may need someone to help us navigate the heaviness; someone trained to walk with us through the mess. That’s where I come in.

My name is Darah, and my journey into the world of counseling began during one of the hardest seasons of my life—when my own marriage nearly fell apart. As we worked through the pain and found healing, I came to believe deeply that God had a purpose for my pain. It’s from this place of empathy and understanding that I now help others move through their own life “explosions.”

As a Marriage and Family Therapy Candidate, I work with couples and individuals 15 years and up with diverse backgrounds. My approach is person-centered and non-judgmental, tailored to each person’s unique needs. In this way, I create a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions, uncover insights, and develop practical strategies for growth and healing.

I’m particularly passionate about working with couples navigating infidelity. While affairs can feel like the end of a relationship, they don’t always have to be. Infidelity, in many cases, is about secrets—and secrets can be addressed and healed. I also help clients explore the individual work that must happen outside the relationship, focusing on attachment, unspoken agreements, and childhood wounds.

Understanding where our patterns come from is often the first step toward lasting change. Together, we’ll explore what’s beneath the surface—bringing clarity, insight, and hope. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to walk through it alone. I look forward to meeting you.
