Hi, I'm Ariel!

Hi, I’m glad you are here! Welcome to the beginning of discovery and empowerment. Therapy can be challenging, but the reward can be so much greater. I believe learning, unlearning, and relearning are all continuous processes in life.

Being vulnerable isn’t easy but can bring about growth in our relationships. I want to hold the space for anything you are experiencing and create opportunities for us to peel back the layers of your innermost self. I understand none of us are perfect and we all carry some sort of weight on our shoulders. I want you to be able to lay that weight down and exchange it for peace. I deeply enjoy working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families and I am especially passionate about working with mental health crises, anxiety, life transitions, esteem issues, relationship difficulties, and youth issues. My desire is for you to live a life based on your journey, not someone else’s. 

Narrative therapy is one of many models we will use together in my therapy practice. This approach essentially encourages letting go of what you may believe society and others think of how you should be living your life and promotes living according to your desired reality. I look forward to supporting your mental, emotional, and spiritual growth.

Professional Disclosure
I am working toward licensure in marital and family therapy under the Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health.

Insurance and Fees
My standard rate is $105 per session and my intake session rate is $155. I also accept Medicaid insurance (aka “Sooner Select”).
Regarding all other insurers, as a candidate for licensure I am not able to file with private insurance companies at this time.
