I care about how beginning therapy can be intimidating to someone who has never experienced it before. And it can also be scary to reenter such a vulnerable space if you have had negative past experiences with counseling or therapy. So my goal is to create a warm and supportive environment for you by using a person-centered approach to therapy. This approach is all
about meeting you where you are and helping you navigate through past and present challenges facing you. In this way, you’ll be at the center of the therapeutic process and treatment is tailored to your unique needs and circumstances.

Counseling looks different for each person. By working collaboratively with you and at your own pace, you will be able to process and heal from past traumas. This might involve exploring difficult memories, validating emotions, and empowering you to find your own inner strength. Additionally, I will help you develop coping skills to deal with the current challenges you’re facing. Providing a safe space for you to explore your feelings and experiences together is how you will have support in your move toward healing and growth.

Professional Disclosure
I am working toward licensure in marital and family therapy under the Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health.

Insurance and Fees
My standard rate is $105 per session and my intake session rate is $155. I also accept Medicaid insurance (including “Sooner Select”).

Regarding all other insurers, as a licensed professional under supervision, I am not able to file with private insurance companies at this time.
