Hi, I'm Andrea!

There are moments in life when things are difficult and we may need someone to walk with us through those challenges. That’s what I desire to do, and as we walk together I will partner with you to overcome the obstacles in your life’s path. In counseling, I will incorporate techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and solution-focused therapy to tailor our time to your specific needs and goals. With these evidence-based methods, we can approach your life in consideration of your perspective, choices, and desired outcomes.

My biblical worldview influences my practice for direction towards hope as a real thing, and recognition of your intrinsic value and power to create change. Nonetheless, I enable you to lead the way with spiritual matters because I deeply value your beliefs as sacred and I believe in your ability to bring about your intentions with therapy. This also means we don’t have to integrate spirituality at all. I want to create a place where you will experience the safety to share your story and to do the work to become the best version of you.

I am passionate about working with kids and youth who are part of the foster care system and I enjoy supporting the family members caring for them. I appreciate the diversity of family construction and providing support for the frequent transitions that family life undergoes. I am also passionate about helping those serving in ministry and family members of ministry leaders. I understand how ministry can be isolating work, and needing help in the midst of helping others makes sense to me.
