Hi, I'm Cassidy!

Cassidy Daye

Candidate for Licensed Marital & Family Therapy (LMFT-C)

A session with me looks like a space set aside to work towards the goals you want to achieve. In this way, I create a time focused on you and what you want to change in your life. I’m here to provide a safe atmosphere you can feel comfortable opening up at your own pace. At certain times though, I’ll bring to the surface things you might not have noticed yet, to support you in the hard work of changing. Through safety, mutual respect, a desire to make changes, and my past education and current learning, each session will help you get closer to achieving your goals and living the life you’ve envisioned.

I have a passion for helping individuals, families, and couples navigate relationship issues, anxiety, grief, and trauma in order to live life to the fullest with hope, confidence, and community. So here you’ll have the opportunity to shift perspective and see problems as solvable!

I’m specially trained in relationship issues, and enjoy helping couples and families foster connection and healthy attachments. Also, I’m experienced in seeing individual clients, and using a systems approach I help you discover problematic patterns leaving you feeling stuck in a cycle. Working together on changing parts of the pattern to be more helpful will help your return to a healthy state. In caring for couples, I use a mix of Gottman and EFT to rebuild trust, improve communication, and deepen your emotional and sexual intimacy. For other issues, I integrate a blend of therapies including Attachment, Family Systems, DBT, and Narrative. Additionally, I’m trained in EMDR for trauma and Prepare & Enrich for couples preparing for marriage.

If you’re ready to continue the rewarding hard work of growing and making positive changes in your life, then I would consider it an honor to walk alongside you in that journey.
