Beginning therapy can be intimidating to someone that has never done it before. It can also be scary to reenter such a vulnerable space if you have had negative past experiences. My approach to counseling is using person-centered therapy which centers on your thoughts and feelings and perspective, no one else’s. This way you can have open communication without fearing any judgment. Safely, you can pursue personal growth with curiosity about yourself and anything related to you. We will work through any insecurities and you can feel free to ask any questions you have to get what you need out of this process.

For the last few years, I have worked at an elementary school. This has given me a greater understanding of how differently we all grow up and experience feelings and choices. I enjoy seeing all groups of people, but have a special interest in the adult neurodivergent population. I am here to hold space for you no matter what you’re going through, whether it is struggling with learning disabilities, developmental delays, feeling “behind” your peers, or trying to figure out parenting while juggling so many other roles, responsibilities, and circumstances. Maybe it’s something else and you just need a safe space to breathe and calm a mental space that feels so busy. Through this process I hope you are enabled to discover solutions for difficulties you’re facing in your life. Working together, we can help your headspace be a more peaceful place.
