Hi, I'm Isaac!

Isaac McCaslin

Professional Counseling Intern (PC-Intern)

With a holistic approach, I believe each person has dignity and is worthy of living a full and joyful life in a community with other humans. However, sometimes our experiences with those closest to us impact us insomuch that we believe false things about ourselves and about others. These beliefs create intrusive thoughts about our relationship to ourselves and to others, robbing us of a life where we could flourish and have joy.

I partner with you using an integrated approach to counseling through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I work to foster hope in the journey towards inner healing and healing in your relationships. Together we will work towards listening to, and accepting parts of yourself, that are working to protect or manage you, or parts you may have exiled.

My worldview is rooted in an ancient Christian understanding of the self. However, incorporating this into our work is based on your preferences. My whole-hearted intention is to provide time and space for you to remove any masks you carry so you can be your authentic self.

I am particularly interested in working with those who have experienced trauma, struggle with low self-worth, men’s issues, and helping couples seeking reconciliation and healing. I work with children, couples, and men, and would be honored to walk alongside you to become the person you are meant to be.

I hope to meet you soon!
