Hello, I'm Jeremy!

Candidate for Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-C)

The start of any new journey can be exciting and wonderful, but it also can be difficult and anxiety-triggering. I believe a person’s counseling journey is no different. It can be frustrating navigating identity issues or crises, transitioning through phases and ages, adjusting to new normals after grief and loss, and discovering who you are in all of this to live fully and authentically. Beginning this journey can be powerful and something you have wanted to do for a long time. Or, instead, maybe for years you have put off going the counseling route due to fear of the unknown or what can be unpredictable.

Wherever you are in your story, I would be honored to be a part of it. I take my first task as a therapist to provide a space where you feel like you can have the freedom to explore and express who you really are and what you have gone through so far in your life.

I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral, Attachment, and Person-Centered therapy models to help understand your present circumstances, identify beliefs and assumptions you have about yourself and your situations, and explore areas and issues where you feel “stuck”, or “hopeless”. We will identify personal strengths and strategies to help you move forward in your healing and self-discovery.

I believe spirituality is a major part of who we are as people so I appreciate using a faith-based lens with therapeutic work. Nonetheless, I work for you and exploring your faith does not have to be a part of your treatment if that is something you do not choose.

I especially enjoy working with individuals from pre-teen ages to senior adults, and couples. I have experience working with children, teenagers, adults, senior adults, and couples with struggles including depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, life transitions, sexuality, and identity challenges. I feel one of the hardest steps in any journey is the first step, and I would be honored to be a part of yours.
