I believe therapy is a powerful tool because many distressing things happen in life. With therapy you can make meaning out of difficult experiences. Through this I hope to help you find a sense of purpose and direction amidst struggles. I want to create a safe environment for you to explore emotions and learn more about how to enhance your personal growth. Because it’s important to me that as you experience growth, I’m careful to provide you with the opportunity to be known and accepted wherever you are.

I approach therapy integrating Experiential and Narrative Therapy. This means I will use authenticity as a collaborative process between me and you because being yourself and working with you is valuable in this journey. I have a faith-based worldview and am open to including this in your care based on your personal preference. Other areas I focus on include identifying thought patterns, gaining insight, and uncovering repressed emotions. It’s after emotions are identified, we’ll see the value of making meaning out of those experiences. And in helping you attribute meaning, I hope to empower you to take control of your life and move forward with confidence and clarity.

I have experience working with young women struggling with relationship issues and I really enjoy being able to work with couples. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), as well as Prepare/Enrich for engaged couples. I also enjoy helping in areas of struggle such as anxiety, loss, and relational problems. Let’s work together to make progress towards your goals by giving you applicable tools and encouragement!

Professional Disclosure
I am working toward licensure in marital and family therapy under the Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health.

Insurance and Fees
My standard rate is $105 per session and my intake session rate is $155. I also accept Medicaid insurance (including “Sooner Select”).

Regarding all other insurers, as a licensed professional under supervision, I am not able to file with private insurance companies at this time.
