Welcome to

Bright Care Christian Counseling introduces Kingdom Advocates Re-presenting Empathy (K.A.R.E.) with our Married Couple Groups.

These groups are all skill-based intensives designed to provide support, community, education, and resources promoting marital and individual health principled in love.

“Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, and it is not proud. Love is not rude, it is not selfish, and it cannot be made angry easily. Love does not remember wrongs done against it. Love is never happy when others do wrong, but it is always happy with the truth. Love never gives up on people. It never stops trusting, never loses hope, and never quits. Love will never end. But all those gifts will come to an end—even the gift of prophecy, the gift of speaking in different kinds of languages, and the gift of knowledge.” (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)

Sounds nice… and being in love feels so good… but putting love into action for yourself and someone else is hard! This is why navigating marital choices and transitions can feel like one of the most confusing and lonely trial and error adventures. But it doesn’t have to be that way! Using the latest research on marriage and divorce and the most successful relational theories, our 7 Marriage Groups will provide coaching care. These services deeply dive into relationship research in a thoroughly structured 8-week intensive program equipped with practical skills and tools for you or your relationship. Also you will be in a group to have a community of others going through the same relational concerns and endeavors. This way you will be encouraged to target the specific goal you are seeking to accomplish.

The 7 Marriage Groups provide care in the following areas:

This group is a couples group for engaged couples to do together, equipping you to be ready for a healthy and successful marriage.
This group is an individual group with other married or engaged individuals experiencing mixed feelings. You will explore your personal goals and healthy decision-making processes towards a final decision of what you want to do with your relationship.

Regarding Counseling and Coaching Services:

For many counseling provides a beneficial path to relational health but for others coaching may be more effective or beneficial to do alongside couples counseling. KARE’s Married Couple Groups will meet with engaged or legally married heterosexual adults in monogamous relationships. This is because the research used and incorporated evidence-based skills focus specifically on this demographic.

To promote ethical quality care with appropriate competency and to recognize the nuance and safety needs in other diverse areas we refer the following situations for psychotherapy and counseling services:

Anyone seeking counseling | Dating or Committed unmarried relationships | Domestic Violence | Exploitation | Polyamorous relationships | Same-sex relationships | Self-harm | Serious mental illness | Suicidal ideation.
