Welcome, you are safe here. I believe we each have been uniquely created and our lives have value at all stages and in all circumstances. Each of these has meaning and opportunity, even in the most difficult, unexpected, and heartbreaking moments. I also believe we are all equipped with the unique strengths and abilities needed to navigate our life’s journey. As your counselor, I will be with you in the discovery of your remarkable inner resources and be there to encourage you on your way to a more hopeful future.

As a military spouse and mother of three young adults, I have had experience with deployments and long-term family separation, as well as parenting through an array of transitions and circumstances. For many years I have worked with students and families as a school guidance counselor. My heart is also to work with older individuals and families facing transitions due to declining physical or mental health. I use person-centered and strength-based models with other approaches to see you and hear you and offer unconditional positive regard for what you want to do. Empowering others is something I am passionate about so you will be able to do the same for yourself and your loved ones.

Together, we will gain insight into your natural creative abilities and develop new tools and techniques to help you reach your goals in therapy. I will walk alongside you throughout this process and will approach each session with warmth and compassion. I look forward to working with you.
