Crisis and trauma have a way of taking control over our daily routines. Yes, there are certain situations that become intolerable and impact the quality of our lives. Sometimes, it may even feel like suicide or death are the only things that can bring relief. But with therapy, I know we can find newness in life and learn to take back control of our life. In therapy, we will process issues of loneliness, meaning, purpose, and freedom to re-establish and find our self.

In addition to crisis and trauma, I work with sexual concerns whether it is identity/orientation, dysfunctions, or addiction. How we relate to others and experience ourselves sexually can have a significant impact on our mental health. Whether you’re struggling with sexual identity, expression, or addiction, therapy can help you process your reality and live your full authentic life. I particularly enjoy working with teens and adults of all ages. I appreciate helping you understand who you are and what you can become to bring hope and health to your bright future.

I primarily use an existential approach to therapy. This approach asks you to look inward and come to an understanding of your purpose and meaning as an individual. I also use a variety of evidence-based approaches as needed to help you reach your specific goals effectively.

Professional Disclosure
I am working toward licensure in marital and family therapy under the Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health.

Insurance and Fees
My standard rate is $105 per session and my intake session rate is $155. I also accept Medicaid insurance (aka “Soonercare”).

Regarding all other insurers, as a candidate for licensure I am not able to file with private insurance companies at this time.
